Individuals may freely use all photographs for their personal use, such as, computer wallpaper, school reports, personal decorations, etc. Any reproduction of content on Internet or Intranet sites is encouraged but must include a text citiation such as "Photograph provided by David Metraux " and a link must be made to the page on www.davidmetraux.com on each page where my images are used.

Full use of all images is granted for academic and government use provided that proper credit is given and that a link to the source page is located either with the image or with the accompanying list of sources. Please notify me of any use of content for my personal records and please use a citation similar to the one noted under personal usage if possible.

| Commercial Usage: |
Commercial use of material from davidmetraux.com is allowed as long as David R. Metraux gives authorization in writing. Normally, permission will be granted (although a usage fee may be requested from larger sites and for publications) if the image is to be used as supplementary content for a commercial site. If the image will be the revenue-generating item, we will need to discuss payment terms. Again, no work may be placed on commercial sites without written permission from David R. Metraux. Of course, any web site is encouraged to and may freely link to any pages on davidmetraux.com.

I reserve the right to demand "stop usage" of any photograph owned by David R. Metraux if I deem the image to be found on a site that I determine to be offensive.
